How can my kids get toys from Goodfellows? GOODFELLOWS only provides to children living in the North Carolina, Triangle area. Only the children selected through our local area schools to participate in GOODFELLOWS receive gifts. We do not ship gifts outside of the area Back to Top What does it take to run Goodfellows every year? GOODFELLOWS requires about $50,000 and an enormous amount of volunteer work to make this project a success. The money raised is entirely through monetary donations and donations of goods and services from businesses, groups and individuals within the community. Back to Top What can my company or I do to help? “We have a wonderful *Sponsor a Goodfellows Child* campaign and cordially invite you or your business to be a part of this amazing opportunity. A donation of only $300 will cover the cost of giving a Raleigh child a holiday they will not soon forget. $300 guarantees a child receives a holiday dinner with all the trimmings, a shopping spree for much needed winter clothing at the Crabtree Valley Mall Hudson Belk, toys from Santa, transportation to and from the events, and an adult chaperone that will give the child one on one attention all day. As a special thank you, your company will receive a personalized thank you card from a Goodfellows child and recognition in our Program Book, on our website, and in a thank you ad in The News and Observer.” Back to Top Are my donations tax deductible? Your contribution IS tax deductible. The GOODFELLOWS project is run by the Raleigh Jaycee Community Impact Fund, a 501c(3) nonprofit organization. Our tax ID number is 58-1697505.
