About Goodfellows
Goodfellows is the oldest
continuously running Jaycee project in the world. Since
1934, this project has provided a Christmas to children that
otherwise would not have a Christmas experience. Over 90
children are treated to a traditional turkey dinner with all the
trimmings, gifts from Santa, and most importantly, a shopping
trip to Hudson Belk at Crabtree Valley Mall for things they truly
need: coats, shoes, and clothing.
We are continuing our Sponsor a Goodfellows Child campaign in 2011 and cordially invite your
business to be a part of this amazing opportunity. A
donation of only $300 will cover the cost of giving a Raleigh
child a holiday they will not soon forget. $300 guarantees a
child receives a holiday dinner with all the trimmings, a shopping
spree for much needed winter clothing at the Crabtree Valley Mall
Hudson Belk, toys from Santa, transportation to and from the
events, and an adult chaperone that will give the child one on one
attention all day.
